I Love the way I wear this hat!
What others think I have no care;
They call me vain! How do they dare?
My love for life they do not share;
Will gossip change their heart of that?
They call me vain! How do they dare?
I Love the way I wear this hat!
What others think I have no care!
What others think I have no care!

I love the way you wear it, too. Nice little triolet, and just the right subject for one, something that calls out for a simple but entertaining/meaningful statement..and I'm certain that's exactly what the lady was thinking.
ReplyDeletefantabulous!! Have you ever seen the play "Sunday in the Park with George"? Now I am humming the memorable, "Finishing the hat" song. I love IT, too! And you reminded me of Magpie.. so many thanks to you I am feeling redundant but then again, is gratitude ever redundant, really?
