intent....

Magpie Tales #32

the grains of sands flicker
as they always do, when you walk through the door
is it just the time of day, or
more
the intent of your visit
that produces such spark
whatever,
let it not matter
the sands pass quickly
and soon
it will be
dark....

  1. Dear bkm: This excellent romantic poem is so subtle and persuasive in a positively energized way and yet at the same time so foreboding of gloom which is so obviouslylooming and hence corruptible. ONe wants to take in the "intent of your visit" with the fullest and sensitive gusto before the sands of time run out! Let's hope the sands hold on for at least a good night's kiss!Great atmosphere! So romantic!

  20. Ah yes time. Can it really stand still. Is darkness always inevitable? I guess so but an intense experience can slow the world appreciably.
