Venterated by Harp and Lute

You can dream me in blue moonlight
Venerated by harp and lute
As the stars crossover sky by night
Will you chant me with loves sweet flute?

Will you verse pure what muse held mute?
Calling gale's voice soft in twilight
Venerated by harp and lute
You can dream me in blue moonlight

Is there kinder touch or such sight?
Then strings of ardor weaved in jute
Their golden glow throughout midnight
You can dream me in blue moonlight
Venerated by harp and lute

  1. I don't know how you do it! Day after day pearls flow from your fingertips and settle as dew on lips.

I will dream you in blue moonlight.

  4. What a mind is yours--full of beauty, in which you graciously allow us to share. Now THAT is what I call spirituality! Thank you!

"The Real Me" (above, on right) is a very attractive poet, one which I CAN see in the blue moon light...and dream?
    PEACE!

  7. Is what the lover desires most is to see their own reflection in their beloved's eye -- recognition and acceptance and and welcome? Your wonderful poem is so sweetly blue with that music, played the other way (the troubadour getting sung to by the song of her beloved's passion). It's been a long time since my beloved has wished for MY lute, but I think she hears it in my groans as I bend to clean up the day's cat vomit. How we all would love to be loved in exactly the way we dream, as here ... Brendan
