Pretend

trust matters
in any type of faith -  even pretend
so, should I
choose you my god
for a day - wrap you willingly in the toga of my bedsheets
it must be real - this trust thing , of abiding in one another -(you in me -
me in you) - it can not be any other way - especially, in
pretend

  8. Trust is such a fragile thing, too, easily broken, easily disappointed, especially when we choose a "god for the day." Like this a lot, B.K.

  9. Sometimes it works best in pretend. Less betrayal there.

  10. yikes! we give away so much when we only pretend for the sake of comfort and harmony...I feel saddness and empathy for this soul...
