Blushed Flight

feathered, clouds blue light
painted pewter -  brush
blushed flight
 angel
wings
and
 hearts,  prone to
innocence

  1. Barbara,

My visual acuity stinks, but your words led me to the image again and again. Yes, I see your connection to innocence.

Is it the pastels? The translucence?

    Blushed, yes, lightens me.

  3. Trulyfool,

Yes, the pastels, but the words first originated from a setting winter sky...its touch of pewter and shades of violet, blue light filtering through ...

    a vision itself...innocent..

this image...came closest to that vision....thank you

  6. Dear Barbara: What a lovely palette of soft hued pastel words. What form is this poem, it is very eloquent!

  7. I love the sudden up-breath of "hearts, prone to innocence." A wondrous, non-judgmental shrug.
