X marks the spot
where we both stand
a pirate and his bounty
a treasure and a man
And when our vows are spoken
and our sails are set for life
I will thank the Seven Seas for all of life's treasures
and my darling, Pirate Wife...bkm
written for Alphabet Thursday link here or on Alphabet Thursday badge on the right X is the letter this week...my first entry

ReplyDeleteI love this poem! My hubby is a retired Army aviator and his flight class were known as the Purple Pirates :o) (Each flight is given an identifying class color-the dark purple was theirs...Pirates are what they chose to be.)
