Our Lady of Sorrows

an apology written
uncovers years of buried sin
uncovers the light beneath
the layers of guilt and sorrow

as our Lady of Sorrows
takes us to our knees we have
a chance for renewal
we are given a candle
of hope, and of
new strength - this Lady has become
my strength of late

this Lady has handed be
a torch to light
showing the way towards a path
of sanctity and hope
