endless white

because the sky
begs me bleed
turns my tongue to red
because a facet
knows blue-green
cuts thin
across the night

that life has formed
by word, by song restrains
this earthly sight
and all that i once have known
is but gone - leaves
me to bathe
in
endless white

i should love
or choose to not, or choose
stand like
fallen grace - with steps
that i have walked
upon
time so unforeseen
erased

and all that I
once have known
is but gone (to night) leaves
me to -
so bound
bathed
in endless - white

  1. Love the dark, yet almost ethereal feel and imagery...

Like a tale of fear in the unknown; bathed in the familiar... great piece.

  3. My fav line:
"... all that i once have known
is but gone - leaves me to bathe
    in endless white..."

For me, it is a good thing that "all what I knew is now gone..as in, "God, You take care of it now, tell me what to do. YOU are my new employer!"

  5. White...symbolic of so many things--but here I get the feeling it's a negation of everything.

  7. Bathing in endless white is a haunting refrain in this invitation to bleed a little.
