between where

it is a short space between here
and where I have been
i have earned tenure
unlike any ladder I have climbed
or desert held palmed
smooth...
oasis beheld on the other side of glass
and i will return - in any return
to then -
places easily set
on recall, retrievable

  7. Sometimes I try to recall things, only to find the file's been corrupted - or deleted entirely!
