graffitti...

I am graffiti, who are you?
to deny me access...write or wrong
I am song...voice, a spiral of paint
lettered to be heard....

color racing towards a flood
of emotion that to often is ... blood
diverse I am - a locked up spectrum
within a prism of stone (grey)
a laughter crying "peace be with you

and with your spirit"
do you hear me?  walk, here this way...
....no place for
spacing soul from soul - your face is my
face ---and whole is the world
I sing, I paint.....
I write...graffitti

  16. bkm,
What a wonderful way to 'express' this topic. Graffiti does indeed usually say it all.
The writing on the wall or the painted images, were part of life in Northern Ireland too.
    I understand your message!
    Best wishes, Eileen

  17. bkm,

I am starting a new online magazine that showcases Poetry, Short Stories, Art and Photography and I would like to use your poem "Graffiti" as one of my first few posts and highlights. I hope you consider my request. I will of course credit you as the writer and link back to you so that others may visit your blog. The intent of my blog is to share up and coming talented individuals with others. If you wish to take a look at the site prior to giving your approval please feel free. I have yet to put it out there in a blatant way. I am gathering a small amount of posts to launch with. The website is a blogger address and can be found here: http://restlessartisan.blogspot.com/ . The blog is based in simplicity with each post speaking for itself. There will be no flashy banners, advertising or anything of the sort. It is meant to allow focus on the talent. Again I hope you consider my request and thank you for your time.
