what peace means to me
silence in realm of ancient
flow in breath of waters rage
touch in beginning of day
gathered leaves in dying of self
loves gift in ribbon of kiss
shadow wash across open door
laughter after broken heart
grain of wood before cut
sweet written in a glance
prayer flag in aftermath of war
that
means
peace to me

ReplyDeleteA beautiful meditation on peace, Barbara. I have it in my personal life, but wrote about the political scene which is very discouraging. Sigh.

ReplyDelete..
Peace is easy to obtain but may not please the cruelty and spite of some leaders so many countries citizens cower who are mere pawns on the chess board.
