i like the thought
of remedy
not withstanding
nor understanding its
purposeful nature, washing both


dog and pieces of
clothing to
find preference in companionship
of the prior coat, as

frolic and folly
are said pleasingly uncivilized
with
limited accessory

this (i protest) the consequence
of - a spandex
heart layered with over cautious
face painting

leaving me to seek
the truthful

preference
of canine to cleanliness
